Yes, your wife is being completely unreasonable about your bizarre packet soup fetish..............

I don't know about the Morrison's brand, but over here most packet soups contain huge amounts of sodium, which isn't healthy for you.  Any chance you can supplement your soup fetish with some fresh vegetables on the side?  Or at least munch an apple or banana sometime during the day?
It's only a suggestion, but... have you considered making your own soup, then you know exactly what goes into it? If you like the convenience thing, why not make plenty and freeze some for a later date? I think your wife would be being less reasonable to let you carry on with the packet soup thing. If you must live by soup alone, eat good soup.
are you ill? losing/gaining weight when you shouldn't? forever getting cold and tummy bugs? producing unsociable amounts of "ahem" gas?? If not, I would have said that your diet was your business

being thought unreasonable is part of being a wife however I don't think she is being unreasonble here, she is actually just trying to improve your diet and therefore your health. It's a way of caring about you.

Hambro has sound advice. Your wife is worried about the amount of what is a highly processed, sodium laden product that has little nutritional value and could be bad for you.
