Romance to me is courting a girl, getting to know her, making her laugh, carressing her neck , sharing fine food and wine, listening to beautiful song together etc

Club 18-30 is some old tart with white stilettoes and a fake handbag fellating whatever man she can find in some dreary disco whilst her belly is full of yesterday emissions and Amstel lager.

and I wouldnt say club 18/30 is that, I went on one, had a great time, do not wear stilletos and didnt feel the need to have a one night stand

I think I am the only person in history to go on a club 18-30 with my partner!!!!

Needless to say we didn't really mix or indulge in the activities put on.

However, for the price it was actually a good holiday. Rhodes.

I went to Benalmadena in 1974 for a week In a super hotel and fell for the hotel desk clerk, he was gorgeous, i still have his photo somewhere! I was 18, and had the best time!!! Torremolenos was THE place to go then and Demis Roussos was being played everywhere, it was all very very romantic!

For once, I think I agree with BB. Although I would add that the knuckle draggers that go on this type of holiday are not really the type that would entice me in to bedroom with talk of how much they can drink. Hardly sounds like pre-pillow talk as I know it.

Less of a holiday romance and more a holiday from your under garments.

I havent personally had a holiday romance but my friend met her now ex husband abroad. They had a holiday romance and kept in touch when they got back through letters. They lived at opposite ends of the country but she eventually moved down to be with him.

As for getting pregnant as a result, my boyfriends mate has a daughter in the States who was the result of a holiday fling. He was back packing round Europe, met a girl from America doing the same. I think you all know whats happens next and they now have a 2 year old daughter who lives in the States with her mum while he is still living over here. Its a shame really because he lives for his daughter and uses all his money on getting to visit her as much as possible.
