My bonnet will not open as the catch has broken off and the cable is too short that is showing. How can I get the bonnet open any other way if it is possible

attach a pair of molegrips to the wire and pull,that should do it.

Ive had this problem with the same model car before, i solved it by reaching from underneath the car and manually opening the bonnet, then lengthened the cable once the bonnet was open so i never had to do it again. And it worked
