He was jailed in the episode broadcast on 11th Jan & released on 30th, but the broadcast dates do not always refelct the date on the Street if that makes sense?

I reckon a bit of artistic license was used to stop his release messing up the Vera funeral storyline.

Yes but he was told he would serve 14
