searching for GPS
I bought (and later returned) a Navman 630 v2 portable GPS navigation system, which was supposed to recognise up to 5 digit postcodes. All six postcodes I entered could not be found, and Navman said there were just a few postcodes not yet in, yet I couldn't find even one - that may be because I live in the North of England.
The Navman was useless - it was supposed to be able to redirect you, but it couldn't even direct in the first place. It wasn't just me, as I got other people to try it out.
Anyone know a portable GPS that really works, without trying to get you to turn right when there isn't a right turn? And that recognises most postcodes? (And that doesn't cost more than 800).
any help would be appreciated.
thanx
