I have now received 2 emails from the UK Games Board (([email protected]) saying I have won a money prize and that I need to complete a form, with bank details, to be forwarded to Royal Sun Alliance Agency for payment. The email was from; MR. CHARLES KENNEDY
CLAIMS MANAGER-FOREIGN CLAIMS DEPARTMENT
Tel: +44 703 181 9544 Fax: + 44 870 471 9707
As you can imagine I am very concerned about giving out my bank details but on the other hand I am hard up and could do with the money!! I do intend to mail back for further details and to make a call to confirm, if possible, but has anyone else received this email?

Well they would not get much out of me!! Thanks anyway
It sounds dodgy.

If they were genuine they wouldn't ask for bank details, they would simply issue a cheque, or so i would think.

I'll check it out for you later. I'm busy right now emailing all my bank details to a nice man in Nigeria who has promised to send me several millions.

Dear all, many thanks for your replies. To the person who supplied the web links, even greater thanks!! I have had this email for some time and left it in my junk folder but opened it anyway. I do agree requesting bank details are VERY out of order, hence me posting the question to double check. You never know, one day I may have won something!
I just hate seeing people being done over by these nasty scams. I've received 2 letters from the supposed Spanish Lotto. I googled it and found that it originated from Nigeria. I sent the first one to Watchdog and 2 weeks later they did a report on it. I still have the 2nd one here.

If you google 'scam emails' I'm sure you'll find an email address to forward your email to for investigation.
If you won anything and the company was reputable they'd never request bank details, surely they'd send you a cheque...Do you not watch fone jacker? You Tube it and watch the one where they're trying to get the bank details!!
Well apparently I am an African princess and they need my bank details so I can be paid all my dues - do I believe it - NO!
