with all due respect to your obvious knowledge, was it on to to spoil the fun of researching the answers of the crossword, for you to post all the answers. Well intentioned, perhaps but not thought through thoroughly.

I agree. Where's the fun in that? The whole point is the research and only look an Answerbank when you're really, really stuck.

Same here - these days no-one needs to try at all with the MOS prize crossword, just wait until Sunday pm, whip through Answerbank and find all the answers in one place. Where's the satisfaction in that?

Oh pleeease, givusaclu! If being given the answers spoils the crossword for you, for goodness sake don't use the site at all - it really isn't that difficult to find your way round the web to get the answer yourself! People who live in glasshouses etc etc etc!

I agree with Kane. I enjoy trying to find the answers only when I fail and as a last resort to I come here and then I am very very gratefull for the help I get. It is no challenge to anyone just to copy answers

people come here when they're really stuck? They could always try looking through previous answers on AB before asking their own. There must be a dozen answers this morning alone saying titoki, but still people keep asking.

And yet you're complaining about the people providing answers rather than those who ask the same question over and over??

Why would anyone visit a Q & A site then complain that it has answers to a crossword puzzle? I really don't understand some people.

If you want to do it fair and square then do so. If you want to look up the answers then again, please feel free.

I had completed the crossword by 9.30 and wanted to see if anyone needed any help. You will perhaps have noticed that I never ask a question. I believe that by providing all the answers it does spoil the fun for those who; a. want to research and b. tax themselves. It's all part of the fun. The chances of winning are remote so it's just a bit of fun for me on a Sunday whilst my wife reads the paper.

A small point ,givusaclu. You make a point of mentioning the fact that you never ask a question. This is a laudible position to be in, but perhaps not such a big deal, considering that there are only 14 mentions under your name on the site.
As I say, just a small point.

No need to post the answers to the MOS on this site when they are available on Don's website. Maybe that's where mr rameses got the answers from (and therefore possibly a cheat himself).
