I have Sky+ in my living room and the old digibox in the kitchen. I would now like to be able to get Sky on my bedroom TV. I was thinking of getting one of those TV beaming antenna/receivers however then I thought about buying a Sky box on eBay and putting it into the bedroom and connecting it to the Sky+ box.
Is this possible or is there a better way to do it?
No very technical answers please!
Thanks

Hi
at the back of ur sky box (either of them) there is a second output, (called RF2) looks like a second ariel out type connector, like the one going to ur telly. Just run a co-axiel wire (thats ariel cable) from this to ur telly in the beedroom.
Press [services] 401 [select]
Note that nothing happens on-screen till you press [select] so do it quickly!
Select Option 4 to configure the RF outlets on your Sky Digibox.
The option to enable the second RF output is usually set to off, no reason why other than Sky probably wanting to sell you an additional Sky box.
Change the option to on and the Save new settings and you should find that your second RF outlet works fine.
This will now allow u to watch on the tv in ur beedroom what ever is selected on the sky box.
Buy a sky eye and another remote to control ur sky from ur bedroom.
Hope this helps.

Brilliant answer oggy - just one question. What is a sky eye?
hi shivvy
If you don't want to run a coax maplins do a video sender for 30 quid which has a built in remote repeater heres a link
http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=4 4469&doy=5m2
just do as oggy has said and plug the transmiter into the 2nd rf outlet - only down side is if you also have a wireless router they will probably interfere with each other
Video senders are ok but they are subject to interferance.

As for a sky eye, well goggle it. lol!
I believe that turning the second RF power supply on is only for when you are connecting a second TV using a "TV Link" so that the remote contol can be used where the second TV is situated. Turning the RF power supply on and then connecting just via coax will send 9v into the second TV RF input and could eventually damage it. The second RF power supply should be set to off if you're connecting via coax only.
