Yup............
Probably best I don't tell you how..................lol
It'll probably have settled down by morning.
Yep Ive done this. Ive also torn the bit underneath it (the flappy bit that connects it to the rest of your mouth).

God damned Cadbury's cram eggs *cough*
I have indeed and yes it does settle down JtH says. Take a couple of paracetamol or something if it's really aching.

And before any smart ar$es appear, I just talk a lot ok!

Ah, gotcha.

Although I'm not sure why it's call pearl diving but it might be best if I remain in blissful ignorance of that!

im 21 by the way
swollen glands I reckon. Could be infected saliva glands, go to the docs, you might need antibiotics.
Either you've pulled your tongue (which is horrible but will clear up - ibuprofen or asprin will reduce the inflammation) or you've got a bit of an infection. You have glands in your mouth, so in the same way as your neck gets sore when you have a throat infection your mouth can get swollen glands which feel like tender lumps. Best to see your GP - antibiotics would clear it up. Hope you feel better soon - and don't worry!
