I agree with Jon and Andy that your local library is the best place to find the information you require.
However, like
Brad,
Willings seems to be primarily aimed at advertisers. Many of the entries give detailed information about advertising rates, and the names of the staff who negotiate advertising contracts. Finding the name, and contact details, of the editor can sometimes be difficult (or impossible).
For editorial contacts, my preferred reference source would be the
Writers' & Artists' Yearbook. Unlike
Brad and
Willings (which both cost a fortune and are normally only found in major reference libraries), the
W & A Yearbook (which costs �14.99 at full price) is normally available for consultation in even the smallest branch library.
