I was thinking the same BB when I see that thread yesterday and couldnt decide if it was some kind of wind up or not so, despite having strong feelings on it and wanting to have a rant, chose to stay away.

Well my reaction on reading this is that I'd invite round as the mother to play "doctors and nurses" and slip with the scalpel - oops officer.

My other concern, as well as the safety and well being of the daughter, would be about what else the mother is allowing to happen.
