my partner runs an electrical contractors and employees 2 electricians and 2 apprentices. We took on s guy Tom in June last year who is a qualified and a school leaver as apprentice. they work together on jobs. Things were fine at first but the last few months My partner has gone to jobs and they are still on lunch hour after 1and a half hours cos customers have commented. Now a builder Mick who we do alot of work with (he's also a friend) has complained to the other lads about these long lunch hours that Tom takes and of course the apprentice accompanies him. Tom has been spotted in various parts of town going to the shops, and knocking off jobs early as well. The other electrician has been with us for 14 years and is pretty honest he always takes an hour or half hour and a couple of short tea breaks. Mick lets us know this. the problem is my partner is hopeless at confronting tom and telling him he knows what he's up to
