Any bad news about bagless vacuum cleaners?
Hallo, My Vac has packed up after some years and I am searching for a replacement.I want to keep the price below 50, have no pets and mostly hard floors with a few carpets. Vacs have changed I see. The deposits are all smaller and we have the bagless variety. As the deposits are now smaller maybe bagless is the way to go. Any bad news about them? are they as efficient ? do they leak . Its a new world, I am grateful for any advice

It's a Vax make, bagless (I haven't used the bagged sort for years now) - and works brilliantly. Comes with all the tools, plus one for removing pet hairs. It's over 100 though, but comes with a 6 year guarantee. Very easy to empty and clean, and I prefer it to a Dyson. Well worth the money, in my opinion. x
Hello Almendros, I love bagless vacuums. Our current one is a Bush bagless upright (not sure of the model number). We have a long-haired dog whose fur is picked up very effectively, so if you have no pets, then your floors will really be immaculate! It came with crevice tool, brush etc. for 30 in Hitchens (discount catalogue store). I am sure you can find a good bagless for lesf than 50, especially now the sales are still on in a lot of places.
However, Ice's recommendation is definitely positive! And it is worth spending more to get more.

I have had top of the range hoovers, bagless and bagged. From Dyson to Electrolux.
However, what I will say is I now have a cheap and easily stowaway "HENRY". It is the best hoover I have ever had.
The bags are huge and disposable, so no issue there. It does all surfaces, was about 70 to but and has a smiley face on it.
You can't go wrong with a Henry.
