my husband was in the army for 12 years does he qualify for a pension..9yrs + 3 reserve

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Yes he will be barber . In what years he served will determine which pension scheme he was on. I believe that if he served more than 4 years then he will have qualified for some amount of pension.
You should contact the Armed Forces Pension Office with details of his service number and date of birth etc and they should be able to inform you of what your entitlements are.

That would depend when he was in, I was in from 1966 to 1976, actually 9.5 years, and I qualify for a pesion, so if he at the very least was during or after that time, he would qualify.
