Who else is feeling sorry for themselves with this awful cold?

Came on last night as I was going to bed - knew I'd wake up with sore throat - sure enough did, and during the day have just felt worse and worse. I've had 3 lemsips since I've got in, and about 12 ickinacea (can't be bothered to check spelling)

Just want to sleep till easter now.

Me too C... this is my 6th day of sniffing, coughing and sneezing. Throat feels like its been given a rub down with sand paper... hurts to swallow and can't taste anything when I can. I need a hug :-(

Awwww, you poor thing... I had this ghastly bug in December/January - it totally wrecked my new year....

It's probably better if you just drink loads of fluids and have an early night, sleep is the best cure... bit late for the echinacea right now... I use Total Defence these days - normally really good at preventing me catching other people's colds etc - but this nasty one got past that too... doh.

Anyway, hope you feel better soon !

I felt dreadful this morning when I got up, but I packed my son off to nursery and went back to bed to catch up on some sleep after waking up with trapped wind and mad thoughts in my head in the early hours. Felt achy and bunged up and so exhausted. Then nursery rang asking me to pick him up because of his sticky eyes (he has a cold too) so I had to make a speedy recovery. I need some early nights I think, serves me right for inviting a certain reprobate over for the weekend :)

i feel a bit rough today, more in my head and my chest feels tight . im coughing a fair bit and it hurts! :-( I have had this coming on since about last thursday and today is the worst i have felt, its working its way in slowly!

I hate it when colds just start up and fanny about threatening to strike for weeks on end, just let me be ill and get on with it then **** off!

I'm suffering too, started middle of last week and been worse each day. Been up all night bl00dy coughing and now it's starting to feel like I'm gonna be sick where it's been non-stop. I ache loads too, dossed up on lemsip but I don't really like them!
I just want to sleeeeeeeeep!!!!!!!!

(I am a little bit of a drama queen when ill, but have still been working, not very hard today but was still there)

awww cleversod have a wee bit sympathy, colds n flu's are a depressive illness

just look how men are with a cold lol, they depress everyone!
