Visa Egypt

If I fly into Luxor Egypt and only travel as far out of Luxor as the Valley of the Kings, will I need a visa? if I do can I get it at luxor airport? and also if needed how much is it and do I have to pay in � English or � Egyptian?

you get a visa when you arrive: �15 in sterling. Or before you go, though the link spudqueen posted isn't working for me (stupid computer)

You can get a visa when you arrive at the airport easily (some travel companies will offer to get one for you and charge extra). When you get off the plane, before passport control, go to one of the little banks in the entrance hall, hand over your passport and �10 English or $15 American, and you will get your visa put into your passport and some change in Egyptian money.
Be prepared for hassle. Outside the airport, people will try and take your suitcase from you and ask for tips - even when you don't even know which coach you are headed for.

Puzzzled is right. The visa on arrival is �10. (Though if you wish to hand them �15 I'm sure they will be only too happy)
