Uninstalling Office 2007

I have a Fujitsu Siemens vista (home, basic) laptop here and it has a trial version of Office 2007 installed. I want to uninstall and run office 2003 instead. But the uninstall option only runs to about half way along the bar and stalls. It's been an hour now - 2nd attempt.

Any tips anyone?

try going into ADD / REMOVE Progam first remove 2007 program before adding 2003,

Thanks Brummie - I should have been a bit more clear.

I'm attempting to uninstall, so i'm a few steps beyond your suggestion. It's when i choose uninstall Office 2007 in that panel that the trouble starts - or not(!)- in fact it just seems to stop after a few mins...

by any chance did they include the install disc for office 2007?

sometimes installing with all the default options selected .... then uninstalling does the trick.
