Some months ago, some kids had a great fun throwing eggs at the houses around here. I was one of the recipients of this, an egg hitting the front of my house. We'd only recently had the house re-rendered, costing some 5,000, and now the stain left behind has just about ruined it. I have tried spraying detergent on it, and pressure washing it, but the stain returns after a few days, and it looks like black paint! Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

thats ridiculous, bet you couldve choked the buggas

have you tried a salt solution? its a recommendation for the black stain left by eggs on household stuff but unsure about rendering, worth a try tho?

cheers, weeal, worth a try. thx.
I would use vinegar, I'd soak a cloth in pure vinegar and rest it over the stain for five mins and then wash down with water. Repeat a few times if the egg was 'baked on ' in the sunshine.

I'll try the vinegar next. Salt solution didn't seem to work, although I only did it yesterday, and haven't had time to pressure wash it yet. thanks.
