Right, need your superior advice. Me and my fella stick to just a card on Valentines Day. He's at work at the moment and wanted to make it all nice and romantic for him when he gets back and cook him a meal....
What would you do to set the mood?
I have limited supplies, no roses or anything...
and doing all his ironing and washing is not the romantic idea i had in mind, so save any suggestion of that sort!
hey hun why dont you just run him a nice bath for when he gets in from work cook him a nice meal the rest will come as it is you no what they say the way to a mans heart his through his stomach haha x
lol. Food is sorted out, but thanks for the suggested menu.
I think he would prefer a Rocky film to James Bond or an entire evening of ONly Fools and Horses - but good call, can put that on for him - usually on UK Gold every bloody hour!!!!!!!!
hey nat you ok im sorry havnt been in touch, iv started this new job and have very limited internet time, im actually of sick today so il make the most of it, hows the bubba?
Aw sorry to hear your unwell but congrats on the new job! Baby's well! Over 6 months now, sitting up and everything lol. You still with your fella? How's life? x
Hi andrea... hmmm... maybe i could present myself half decently, put a nice dress on or something, usually in my jeans and lazily casual when he gets in from work and ive been in all day!
Got any candles? Light a few of those, soft music, nice dinner, bottle of wine, early night... all that sort of stuff.
I'm never going to understand the point to this day. Just the very act of having a day like this steals romance as far as I can tell but I guess if you're coupled up it's best to make the effort.
that sounds nice, perhaps just light some candles and a bit of background music on rather than the tele. Does not have to be romantic music just whatever you like. Perhaps if you dress in something that makes you feel good too - and a bit of lippy. Things we dont normally bother with before sitting down to dinner in the house (maybe you do - or maybe you are not into wearing lippy, your choice). The bath ready for him sounds a nice idea - gets him out his work clothes if nothing else!! Enjoy
yes hun still with him, i havnt had anything for valentines day yet as he was at work early this morning i hope he hasnt got a meal planned cos i dont think i can stomach it lol, glad the little un is ok sweetie cant beleive its been that long already
Yup got three candles..... will try and hunt a few more down.
OK, dress and lippy, bath for him, 3 course meal, candles, music and early night.... ;o)
Anything good on the Tv tonightt that i'll be missing? lol. Knowing him, he'll want to come online and check his liverpool fc website and bits and bobs... might ruin the mood slightly but maybe an hour of letting teh food go down wont do any harm.
Glad you're still with him sam! You got him anything for V day? x
Hi Nat! Glad to hear all is well with the wee family! :O)
What you have planned seems good to me! Dressing up nice is a good call, especially putting on something you know he likes (even if you think your bum looks big in it! lol). Try putting on stockings with the dress, instead of the tights...They ALL love that! Also....*whispers*...maybe "forget" to put underwear on, and hint at the fact through dinner! ;O)
I hope all goes well and you both have a great time! xxx
lol maximo - that just made me laugh (how immature is that! lol) , dont think my fella would get through dinner let alone dessert! But might try it, see how comfortable i feel!
