Jersey is a self-governing territory outside of the EEA and does not fall within the EHIC system.

Even though not of particular relevance in this case, if you are eligible to apply for the free EHIC card, and thus acquire the benefits it bestows whilst travelling within its area of coverage, why not get one anyway?
