Paying back Statitory Maternity Pay
My sister has had her baby in October and has been receiving SMP. She works as a joint leader for a Nursery, which there are only the two of them working (small nursery)
Well problem is, the woman who she works with has become distant and their normally friendly relationship has turned sour!
She has also heard form another person that her collegue isn't expecting her back at all and looks as if she has planned on keeping her part time staff on full time as a replacement to my sister.
My sister is having post natal depression and has been let down by a family member to look after her baby, so she has decided that (considering everything) she isn't going back to work.
She is quite worried that she will have to pay her SMP back as some have told her that she will. I have looked on websites, which say that you don't, but she is panicing now!
Any advice!
