sky broadband additional users
2 Answers
I have recently switched to Sky broadband, however, my son cannot access the internet from his "user account" in XP unless I am also logged on, as he cannot connect to the internet. With my old ISP, he just clicked on the desktop icon and connected, but with Sky, there is no icon - I have even tried running the installation CD on his user account, to no avail. I contacted Sky, who said it is an issue with my computer, not their broadband. Is this correct? How is my son supposed to access the internet if I am not there, which is often. I don't want to give him my password as that will give him access to my own user account. Does anyone know what I have to do to enable him to connect to the net via his own user account? Thnak you
