can a laptop cook your legs from the inside like a microwave?

i know this sounds mad, but do you think a laptop can cook your legs from the inside like a microwave. i sit with a laptop on my knee and have been getting pains from deep inside my muscles, and no, my laptop doesnt have spikes on the bottom!!

Just wanted to know!

I am sure most of what newsdesk says is correct, but I take issue with the fourth from last word - radioactive.

I don't think anything in a laptop is radioactive, but more like they transmit electro-magnetic radiation (radio waves)

You should take precaution and beware of fertility problems for future ie. providing you are young and if you would want kids.

i have mine on a tray with legs on the side ...if you put it on a pillow it gets very hot ..
