Hey, I'm giving blood tonight but I'm then meant to be going out drinking...not to heavily though! Is that a bad thing to do?

I think so, but only because of dehydration.

So if I remember to drink water inbetween I should be alright?
To reduce the effect of dehydration drink lots of water!!
Yes, I would think so. Drink plenty of water straight after giving blood. They should provide as much as you want. Eat a light meal as well, just to be on the safe side.

I've done it a few times, you just get p1ssed a lot quicker. It's a very good way of having a cheep night out and you doing something amazing, like the advert says.

Excellent! I'm on a budget anyway! this could actually be a good thing...how often can you give blood? Theres a group of us doing it,it could be the new night out :o )
3 times a year for women, but I think it's 4 for men. Better check, I could be wrong.
