This is a real etch-a-sketch picture though it is obvously also mixed with clever filming.

The time taken to produce it must have been collosal. Dont think it was done by the guy in the ad, think thats the clever photography, taken at stages when the picture was being created behind the scenes by others over hours of time.
My mum thinks that they just film him doing mad doodles and then they use the computer and change it to make it look like its real. If thats true, only god knows.
I Had an etch a sketch and I never could do anything at all like that , boxes and squiggles were ok and square writing but no way could that be done , so in my opinion its def computer generated ....
I also had an etch-a-sketch. All I could do was a house, with a rectangular base, a triangular roof and square windows. Oh, and a rectangular door. And I thought that I was good at it!
Couldnt be sure if this one is def real..but its certainly possible. Check out "George Vlosich" on google - he's the worlds best etch a sketch artist. According the man himself the pictures usually take between 70 - 80 hours!
