Lol - no, you can buy some gel things from chemists which cushion the soles of your feet.
And if they're posing shoes then just ensure you go somewhere in which to pose.... this usually means being driven to the door, sitting down for the majority of the evening and then being driven home.

Well red if your out on a date ,you should'nt have them on for too long, with a bit of luck LOL
We used to p1ss on new boots then stuff them with newspaper,
If you don't want to do that, try some dubbin to soften them:

Question Author
havent any dubbin, besides they are strppy shoes and so not a lot of leather to give, think im going to end up wearing some good old comfy ones, how boring is that, must be my age
You're a woman aren't you? got kids? what's a couple of hours with sore feet compared to childbirth? Don't be a girl, wear the shoes and put up with a slight discomfort woman!!

Question Author
yes you should run as well, as fast as you can lol
Aww, gina, I know that feeling too well. Me and heels don't mix as it is, especially new heels. I am always the girl with bare feet at the end of the night. :(

If they pinch, you can buy a shoe stretching spray in most cobblers (is that what they call them?), that you spray inside and wear with socks for a little wheel. That actually works. If it's the balls of your feel like it usually is for me, then you can try the Party Feet pads. They're available almost everywhere.

Hope you can wear them almost pain free. :)

thanks, been walking about in them and hoping that its just my imagination that they are killing me, but im afraid im just kidding myself lol
You would probably be better wearing tights with them rather than a false tan, this will create a softer contact with the lining of the sandal, the lining of the straps is probably a synthetic material that is irritiating your skin, it is the lining you should treat with a coating of vaseline to create a friction barrier
Question Author
yes i have been trying with and without tights and i think i may be safe with them, def feels better, even though they are leather, i will try the vaseline idea thanks
Forget the strapy stiletoes get some of these for comfort
