Printer not working properly.

My printer won`t print from wordpad, or from printable version of email, although it will print the email using epsom web to page or if I am on a page and there is something to click on which says print this page, it does this ok. It won`t print from open office either.
Does anyone know what the problem could be please.

Hi trish432

You have proved that its not your printer at fault.
So you need to uninstall your printer and reinstall.
Do you have your original install disks?
If not go to: http://www.epson.co.uk/ (I have presumed you have an epson printer - if this is not the case, go to printer manufacturers web page) and dowload a driver for your exact printer and operating system.

Thanks silverhelper, but I Meant to add, in my question, that I have tried uninstall and reinstall, but it made no difference.
I was always able to print from wordpad before, I don`t know what`s gone wrong, it`s a real nuisance.
If anyone else has any suggestions I`d be very grateful.
