Sore Throat

Afternoon All,

My throat is absolutely killing me and is making me miserable. I'm supposed to be going out this evening to a friends 'I'm leaving to go to Auzzie Land' forever parties' so I really should go.

Does anyone have any soothing rememdies or quick fixes to get me through the night at least please? (I've tried garggling with TCP, Soothers and paracetamol).

Lol hau k - I was going to suggest that to China, but I see she's already taken paracetamol.
I agree with jon, China. That Chloraseptic stuff works quickly on a sore throat.

Hi China hun, not sure if you'll see this now but I always find things like Soothers rubbish for sore throats - they do absolutely FA in my opinion.
What you need is Strefen (sp?) which are like Strepsils but hard core. They are wonderful for sore throats and they actually numb your throat. You have to get them over the counter though.
