I take it we are now 'under starter's orders' midazolam ? Numericals are usually amongst my favourites, but maybe I won't be feeling that way furlong !

Even the clues are odd - that's a real handicap !
Though the 1-2-3 can be nailed by educated guesswork !

quite a realistic looking book ... but with an over-round of 122% this is definitely more Hills/Ladbrokes territory than Betfair.
hi guys sorry new to this and have just spent 2 hrs on this puzzle only to fall at the last fence (sorry) - seems to be that the order hinted at by earlier posters wd result in a break even rather than a meager profit, or am i missing something?? thx anyway
Hi Castro - looks like you are there - you'll break even if you add up but don't round up, but if you are strict and apply rounding for each separate piece of the bet, you just might make the odd copper.
