Theland

I've just received a PM on Sportsbank from Theland - and he's not at all well. He's taking early retirement from his job at the end of next week, and had hoped to find other work, perhaps on a part time basis, but he hasn't managed to do that, and is very down. If any of his friends on AB would like to post a word or two of support to cheer him and to encourage him to look on the bright side, I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Styley, Theland has a wife and family - and his son has a very severe disabilty, so Africa isn't an option. Theland isn't feeling sorry for himself - he's concerned about his ability to provide for his loved ones in the future. When our lives are changing to any great degree, we do worry - that's human nature. It's also, hopefully, human nature to, now and then, put ourselves in others' shoes, and in times of need, to extend the hand of friendship and to find it in our hearts to feel a little compassion for them.
