what was it like for you!
my daughter wanted me to be present for her delivery.
well it was worth it ! i will never forget the beautiful moment of a child coming to this world.
Baby Calum was born the 29/01/08 and a little woopie 7.9.
I have had to endure all the swearing, the pinching, and the boyfriend taking gas and air but all forgotten now .
did you have a similar experience? and was it worth it?

The midwife suggested that I leave as it may put me off in the future! but I stayed and saw Rachel being born. Ironically, neither of mine came out the conventional way, but hey ho, maybe my body rembered the pain my sister went through and refused to co-operate!!
I was with my daughter on 1st Feb when she had her baby.I missed the actual delivery though as I had to fetch my 10 year old son from school as nobody else was available. I'm glad I was there for the rest of it though as my daughter's boyfriend was as much use as a chocolate fireguard. There were 3 different midwife shifts during her labour and the first lot tried to run roughshod over my daughter but I put them straight.lol.
