problem attaching/sending songs

A music query: Any help appreciated.

A friend in the United States is able to attach songs from her music collection ad end these, effortlessly, to me.

I have tried to do the same with only sporadic success; most tracks fail to transmit.

Any ideas.

We are both using Mac operating systems (I am 10.4 and she is 10.5) and the music files are in m4a format.

You could try uploading them to a web server and giving her the link, I suppose.

www.rapidshare.com is free but a bit time-consuming. www.sexypenguins.com is less timely and is also free, but it requires registration.

If you're using one of the mail e-mail providers (Live Mail, GMail, Yahoo! etc.) then I don't really know why an attachment wouldn't send properly.
