I think everyone's been in this situation.

You're having a disagreement and someone says something to which you have no answer.

Three hours later it suddenly springs to mind. Clever answer to knock back your adversary but unfortunately that ship has sailed and you'll forever kick yourself.

So. What would you have said if you could have thought of it at the time?

an answer that has taken 3 hours to think of you want me to think of in a second? Im brain addled after 7pm at the best of times

If you have something to say raise your hand and place it over your mouth,

Ive yet to use it! lol
I always think of witty answers when it is too late.
It depends on the situation, I tailor my responses to suit, Im fairly caustic when riled, I tend to have the last word in most disagreements
So true, Beetledewz and Puss.

Your response made me smile, Cazzz.

I hope I remember that for future use, Lou.
I cannot think at this moment, but it has happened to me.

I have kicked myself many a times, thinking why did I not say that!!

And you play it over and over in your mind!!
Only once have I come back with a killer put down - I was with a school friend (male) who is in a wheelchair following an accident a truly revolting friend of an ex was in the pub and as he walked past he said loudly " I see you can only get the cripples now" I managed to respond "Unlike you he's paralyzed from the waist down, not the waist up". But the rest of the time I think up the answers 3 hours later!
