The new Nissan gtr is �35000 in Japan> When it arrives here in 2009 it will cost �55000.And dealers are saying dont buy an import.Why do us british pay more for our cars than anyone else. Somebody needs to change the law on car taxing. What a car it is though. o to 60 3.5 secs.top speed 193mph! cant wait to buy it.

Your final points give the reason for the prices. People just cannot wait for new cars and buy them anyway. If the car came over and sold none in the first month it would soon be dropped in price.

I thought of that, i use to have a subaru impreza sti.that was an import. I did not have a problem with it. But the local subaru dealers wouldnt touch it. then a few years down the line thay didnt have a choice becuase of all the buisiness they were losing. the only thing with the gtr is its a heck of a lot of money. and if it does go wrong i will be int s**t. Its just not fair.
