Can anyone tell me why my comp is running really slow and when Im trying to watch an AVI file on windows media player its all out of sync? Someone told me I need to download codecs?? My comp runs on Windows Vista and even going from site to site takes ages! Please help before I launch this comp out the window!!!

Hi,
I've found Win media player can be a bit sluggish on video files and so I use this free media player instead.

this is the codec collection to cover most formats
