Hi
nowt wrong with the 3 cylinder 1 apart from sounds like a diesel, a bit slow -but once you get moving its OK on the motorway just keep it about 4k revs uphill - i use 1 everyday
on the motorway up to 80mph & get about 45 mpg on average but i do push it a bit,
the tappets are sometimes noisy when warm -check if it has had the gear linkage replaced a normal problem on the corsa C 2000 to 2006 not sure about the corsa b
make sure the engine lamp isn't on it can cost to have the fault diagnosed
good luck

:) Excellent!
Sounds good then!
Thanks alot
this engine does not have tappets as such it has hydraulic lifters which work with huydraulic force from the engine oil. and watch out that it has had the vauxhall recall regarding the timing chain caried out.
