Nope Ive always thought walk into a place and dont worry what people think and go in believing you are the same if not better than these people who look down on you

Question Author
It was ok but I left feeling I wasn't good enough for him
but had nice food and wine so if nothing else at least I had that
I keep feeling like this a lot but with all I have been through there is no wonder
At least I know I can go on a date now though and I suppose it will get easier

yes you should never try to fit in, If you have to try they are not worth it
dont belittle yourself, there is no standard to say who is good enough to whom, all about the feeling and spark. glad you enjoy the food and wine, you never know what gonna happen next;) me and my bf didt meet up again after our first drink until 9 months later, i thought i'd never see him again after the first met and he was not interested me at all, but hey, you never know what happen next:))
After being married for 7 years, my husband left me for his pregnant girlfriend! My first priority was my son, who was only 5 at the time. I had the same feeling and was uptight when I met new people. I think this was also due to the fact that my husbans had been putting me down all the time, which severely knocked my confidence. I have come through the other side now that I have met a wonderful man. We have been together for 5 1/2 years and been married for 1 1/2. It takes time but you will get through it. Best wishes xxx

I have enrolled on a evening class and joined a club on a monday night so I am doing things as a single person and myself that doesn't involve my small son
I also do a lot of things with him 2 x
.........Lil......... the big truth is that NONE of us are good enough...............that's part of the human condition

Just feel sorry for the poor sods who simply don't realise it includes THEM........:o)
I used to feel like this all the time when I was younger(caused by growing up in kids homes I think).Since I have gotten older I no longer have this problem and i'll talk to anyone from Royalty to a tramp in the street.
I told myself that it didn't matter whether people liked me or not as not everyone in the world will like everyone else.(does that make sense?lol).

I had a crap childhood and think that's where it was deep rotted in me that I am never good enough but I suppose the only person I need to please is MYSELF
I always let people upset me over remarks they make etc or what I think they are thinking
