graphic card upgrade

i need to upgrade my graphic card i have a tornado GeFORCE fx 5200 i recently purchase a 8500 series but it dont fit on motherboard the problem is the motherboard slot has got to have three slots and the 8500 only have 1 short and 1 long bit at bottom to slot into motherboard i need to find out who made motherboard can anyone help on this please
