Where would you go?

Hi all! Well, I was meant to go out tonight, spent ages getting ready (done the "smokey eyes" look! lol), only for it to be cancelled at the last minute. Ah well!
Anyway, I've been thinking. Where could I go (hypothetically), if I could work with only a computer and the internet (which I could, actually!), that would get me a nice wee house / cottage somewhere nice and quiet (I'm thinking an island or a lakeside place!) for minimal costs? where would you go?

Well, the thing is, it'd have to be nice, but also extremely affordable...lol So I was thinking somewhere remote, no touristic area...Even somewhere in the UK would do, actually, as long as I can get cheap rent and a nice remote location! lol

PS: sorry for confusing you Wiggal....I went on about my not going out tonight as well as my original question!
