Does anyone know where I can buy seed potatoes for J Royals apart from online. My local Co-op Superstore used to sell small bags but they say they have sold out. I always seem to just miss out. Any help appreciated.
I live in Northamptonshre, if that helps.

Many thanks

They're called "international kidney"

They're only Jersey Royals when grown on Jersey.

Otherwise same potato.

Most Garden centres will stock them

Thankyou very much. Have seen them in shops but didn't realise what they were. Will go tomorrow. EK xx
Jersey pots no longer taste as they used to because farmers in Jersy are not allowed to grow them with seaweed compost as they used to
That sounds like it might be a "Euro-myth" to me Shylock.

This application by Defra for protected name status for Jersey Royals claims "Seaweed is extensively used as a fertiliser, this enhances the flavour of the potatoes"

Dated 2007
