Has anybody ever had a breakfast date as a first date. I am refering to a possible romantic liaison not some meeting or general fry up.

If you did,

What would you wear?

What would you order? (Will be in a nice hotel restaurant)

Is 11.30hrs (assumed time of breakfast completion) too early to expect a proper kiss if all goes well?

I think pastafreak is looking for you.
Dammit Wardy, I had such a crush on you as well!

I shall now sulk for the rest of the night.
Hmmm never had a breakfast date but I would wear something fairly smart yet casual.

Don't have something that will take ages to eat or need the use of both hands to eat (bacon or egg butty). How about something continental like croissant, danish pastry etc.? This way you can pick at it whilst chatting but be wary of pastry crumbs around mouth after each bite!

No I don't think a kiss at 11.30am is too early if the date went well, just a peck tho, no tongues! you will have just eaten after all ;o)

Just a thought if the date goes really well why not go for a stroll and then go for lunch!

Good luck and hope it goes well.
As I had been waiting & hinting at Mr Roach for a date. I got fed up...so turned up where he was living one Sat morn at about 10am ...& asked him out for breakfast. ...then he took me horse riding...and the rest is history.
Ooops... I wore Jeans & T. & boots..He had just boxers on when I got to his...!!!
We went to the Shopping centre & had breakfast in the bit when they have loads of food stuffs... God forbid I ould ever eat there again...Snob now.!!! We had a kiss goodbye..I went out with my mates that night...Mr Roach & I arrange to go to the movies the next...proper date then.

Thank you for the advice. However the reason for breakfast is we both have busy schedules and Sunday Brekkie is the ONLY option. I am afraid there is little time afterwards in which we can further the day.

Meglet, you should have said beforehand. However, I am probably too hard work for a lady of your calibre.
Well it is Feb 29th.......!

Oh well, I shan't mind being spurned too much.

Sticks bottom lip out

And if I ask how it went, be kind.
Good luck for your breakfast date (I'm assuming it's this Sunday!) Hope it goes well, let us know how it goes :o)
