hammersgirl, I do agree with you, I don't think some of the clues were at all good. I don't know where the t in greek gift comes from either. Is SOB son of a bitch, to put it bluntly (and risking being banned I assume!). Also, in 19ac, well ha ha, but where in the clue is the definition?

greyfox, I too thought the answer was an anagram of unitary +connection, but then I realised that those words only contain 4 n's. and there are 5 n's in continuity announcers. I've written that in though.
