Max - I don't mean to be insensitive, but in life things happen for reasons we sometimes cannot see. If it's meant for you and him to be together it will happen. Look at this as a blessing. You should be relieved that you found out what he is like now than later. This is an eye-opener for you.
(forgive me for asking this, but, are you the same Max whose friend came late some months ago?

Hi Pet, Bigmamma, and everyone else (who's probably fast asleep now),
Somebody deleted me and another person on here. I think the person who is doing the deleting (I think we all know who it is) is just having a clear out. I haven't taken it personally and I will still continue to contribute to their threads like I do every now and again.
Max, I've been in similar situations to you. Many years ago I was friends with a guy I really fancied. I was too scared to mention that I wanted something more than just a friendship and I thought that he felt the same way. Anyway, another girl came on the scene who we became friends with and a few months later they started hanging out together alone. This made me feel sick and I couldn't deal with it. My other friends knew how I felt so they got me to go out with them instead and meet new people. I did so and after about a week I started to feel better. As soon as this guy saw that I was hanging out with other friends he got jealous and wanted to hang around with me again.
Basically, just take a back seat and don't contact him. He will then realise what he is losing if he is that much of a friend to you. Maybe that will jog him into action as well.
Good luck hun xxx
