How do you find out your phone line provider is? I called BT to connect up my line as i have just moved in and they want �125 as the line is owned by another company, they can't tell me who though... any ideas?

was it not in the HIPs (home imfomationn pack)http://www.homeinformationpacks.gov.uk/ that the previous owner had made up ? HTH Tez
Well its def not Tiscali, they go throught the BT line. I called them and they couldnt even check to see if the the last person in the house was a customer. Whereas Virgin go through cable and still assure me its not them. maybe its NTL or something? Any more ideas? i do need to go through all my paperwork and i am sure i remember seeing BT!! There is a line in the house, cannot connect the phone to it just yet as the plastic box bit is in bits!
