internet explorer turns off computer

Its driving me crazy, every time i enlarge anything on my computer and also whenever it bloody well fancys this sign comes up that says.....Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close you down, sorry for any inconvenience etc, it then says click here for more info but the infos in double dutch, its driving me crazy, some days its more than others but always if i enlarge pics etc, please please please any computer boffins out there help a damsel in ditress x

In ie6 or 7 click on tools and manage add ons and try disabling them to see if it makes a difference.

Thank you for your reply, I did as you said but there was a list of add ons etc and god knows what else there, I was like where do i start here which one do i disable how do I no which one is the right one to choose please help thanks again suzee

sorry suzie..been away.
Hope all sorted.
If not.
You can disable all of them.they will re enable when you have to use them for flash games etc,i.e will ask you.
In i.e 6 or 7 click tools>internet options>advanced and reset to put i.e back to a virgin(as new state.).

Just a thought.
Are you sure it's internet explorer and not just explorer needs to close?
