mobile phone with internal memory

Hi all! I am looking to get my neice a new mobile phone for her birthday, she wants one with a large internal memory as she wants to store a lot of music on it, but I am on a bit of a budget! Anyone got any suggestions for phones? Many thanks. Daffi x

I'm assuming she's wanting Pay as you go, and not pay monthly (contract)?

What kind of price range..?

Check out some of the Nokias and Sony Ericssons.

Most of them come with a memory card that can easily be changed for a higher capacity card, without too much of a high price tag.

my first thought is .... get her the phone .... let her get her own memory.

most phones will come with some already fitted - there is no such thing as enough ..... so cut your cloth .... think of it as an opportunity for someone else to get her what she wants as well

I'd go for either the Sony W610 or Samsung J600.

However, depending how old your niece is, I would think that design is very important to her. Hence, perhaps try and get an idea of what she wants. (Is this her first phone?)

Prior to my current phone, I had what seems to be the predecessor to this phone, and it was excellent. It also has a removable memory card (comes with a 512MB one), that are pretty cheap to buy too, in the advent of her wanting to upgrade.

That'll store about 500 songs on it, or a mix of songs and photos, etc.
