What's The Best Way To 'Cure' Writer's Block?

Not sure if this question is in the right place!
I've been struck down with the dreaded block and can't seem to shift it so just wondering if there's any advice or help so I can get back to writing!

It's a certainty that fretting about it will simply exacerbate the situation, so you should try and forget about your writing project as far as possible.
Are you able to take a holiday? If not then a weekend away will halp - go somewhere new, do something different - walking or some kind of exercise is ideal.
Let your imagination settle and un-knot itself and the creatuve process will return, but you can;t force these things. You will need to relax and let your subconcious sort out the 'obstruction' on its own.

I'm not being facetious or simplistic...I really mean it. It doesn't matter if what you produce is gobbledegook; at least you are physically performing the act of writing. Eventually, you will get back to the manuscript you had going and pick the threads up.
Be careful, though. I wouldn't want you to become like Jack Nicholson in The Shining!
