I think was entitled to 285.00 for every month I had worked there (this was the upper limit then but may have changed now though) I also got a months holiday pay(this must have been a bonus as I didnt have any holidays left) and another bonus payment (cant remember the name of it) something to do with an enhanced payment
If you go here I think you can work out how much you should get http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/Employe es/RedundancyAndLeavingYourJob/DG_10029836

Does your employer have a specific policy regarding redundancy - you should have access to a staff handbook or intranet site that should lay out redundancy terms. Yes, there is statutory redundancy, but many employers will enhance this with a scheme that will be based on age or service or most likely a combination of both.
If i were you, I would try to dig out your employment contract, staff hadbook etc or speak to a union rep. Sorry, I have no idea of the size of organisation you work for, so these suggestions might be over the top if it is only you and your boss in the whole company!
