im 41 and i am still slim and active with a six pack most at my age have bear bellies and i can still out do a youngster in work or exercise anytime and i dnt feel old and i still have all my teeth lol

Except for 1or 2 of you,you should all be shot and put out of your misery before you get 'old'-lol......what do you think happens when you DO get old???......not a lot actually,and the way you think and feel stays pretty much the same. Thank god I can say I am one of those crazy oldies with wild hair who can still fit into her jeans.....I just may put some pink streaks in-lol..the best thing is not giving a **** what people think...nah,nahhhh!

Plus getting old has it's advantages, you can choose not to hear the things you don't want to, you can be as rude as you like cos nobody dare have a go at the elderly AND to top it off, people give up their bus seats for you!

The little old men and ladies you see now will be a thing of the past. I can remember when my grannies were in their 70's and they looked like todays 90 + year olds.

Up and coming oldies are far more likely to keep their hair coloured, indulge in cosmetic surgery and stay in conventionally stylish clothes and not suddenly decide polyester is essential.

We keep fitter, have improved medicines and illness prevention, advances in needed surgery to help keep us going.

All that will stay the same is a lousy state pension.
