rabbit waste help

hi CAN ANYONE HELP
just gone to take my rabbit waste to the tip and the council wont take it anymore as they have changed their rules on what you can take, they wont even take wood etc.
i live in hampshire and was wondering if there was any people here that rescue rabbits like me that can tell me what they do with theres. i live in the countryside and there are quite a few allottments around. do you think they would take some as its only hay, straw and droppings. any help would be great thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I know someone (also in Hampshire) who now bags up the rabbit waste and puts it into the bin! The reason is that the tip refused to take it. I don't know if it's really the right thing to do but using it on a garden could cause problems as there is likely food stuff in there which can attract rats. I used to put the guinea pig waste on the compost heap but then discovered that rats liked it!
like the answer of dumping it at the council offices lol.
i do have a garden but not enough room for a compost heap. im going to ask one neighbour see if he wants a sack a week.
as for putting it the bin they check it and they only empty it every 2 weeks and with a household of 6 it will fill too quick even though we have a recyling bin too.
